  • What is required for registration right now?
For scout groups, the current registration phase (October-November) only requires the number of participants, leaders, IST members, and patrols. You do not need to submit individual participant details until the second registration phase in January/February. If you are registering as an individual IST member, International Scout Patrol, or Hjálparfólk, we need all your personal details at the time of registration.
  • When is the registration deadline?
The registration deadline is November 15, 2024. For Scout Groups you will be able to provide individual participant details during the second registration phase in January/February 2025. For IST members and International Scout Patrols, full details are required upon registration.
  • Can we adjust the number of participants after the first registration?
Yes! You can adjust the number of participants, leaders, IST members, and patrols by sending an email to brekkulegan@leirvikspall.fo any time before November 15, 2024. Additionally, if your group is accepted to the camp, you’ll receive an email by November 16, 2024, asking you to confirm your registration details. At that time, you’ll have another chance to update any changes.
  • Do we need to provide the names and personal details of participants right now?
No, scout groups do not need to submit individual names or personal details at this stage. You’ll be asked to provide those details in January/February 2025 when we open the second registration phase. Individual IST members and Hjálparfólk must provide personal details upon registration.
  • What if we miss the registration deadline?
We encourage all groups to register by November 15, 2024. If you miss this deadline, please contact us directly to see if any arrangements can be made, though we cannot guarantee late entries due to limited spots.
  • Can individuals register to attend?
Yes, individuals can register as IST members (International Service Team), International Scout Patrols, or Hjálparfólk. However, individuals will need to provide full registration details right away, unlike scout groups, who only need to submit numbers in the first phase.
